International Office
At ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, you will find many resources, academic experiences, assistance, networking opportunities, and ways to get a great experience as an international student. You'll join a welcoming community of people from Germany as well as all over the world - all on seven beautiful campuses in Germany. The International Office (IO) is here to help you every step of the way.
Among many other tasks, the International Office helps international students clarifiy many questions about their study stay at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, organizes exciting events and trips designated forÌý international students and also helps ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ students arrange their compulsory stay abroad and looks after them while they are away. The IO team assists students in finding the most appropriate partner university and they are always there to help students who are currently studying abroad.

Partner universities for semester abroad
At ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, we believe in the importance of an international education. That's why semesters abroad at one of aroundÌý190 partner universitiesÌýare an integral part ofÌý our full-time study programs. It is one of the largest partner university networks for business studies in Germany, so please take advantage of it for your studies.

Double Degree for your Master's
Students of all of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'sÌýfull-time master's programsÌýhave theÌýadditional optionÌýto graduate with a double degreeÌýfrom the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and a partner university abroad.
This means that, in addition to your regular ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Master's degree, you can earn an additional, second Master's degree from one of our international partners.

Collaborative programs
The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ offers several programs in close colaboration with valued external partners. Some of these include the Business Preparation Program (BPP) offered in partnership with Wit-Rising Education and Technology (China), the collaboration with upGrad (partnership with Indian and US universities), the cooperation with the Helvetic Business School (Switzerland) as well as the partnership with Keystone Global Careers andÌýWheel of Innovations (India).

International financial support & grants
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ students can apply for a variety of scholarships and grants in order to finance their compulsory semester or internships abroad.
The International Office is available to help with the application and counselling regarding these financing options.

Assistance with visa application
If you are not a citizen of EU/EEA/EFTA or a citizen of a country for which students can obtain their necessary residence permit for study purposes after their arrival, you need to apply for a student visa before. Please inform yourself about the visa application procedure and the documents needed (PDF)Ìýwell in advance. We are happy to help answer questions regarding visa issues.

Summer schools & tailor-made programs
The IO organizes differentÌýtailor-made, customized academic programsÌýsuch asÌýsummer schools or winter schools for groups based on individual wishes and needs of each group or ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ partner university. We're pleased to design a short-term, immersive, on-campus program thatÌýcombines academic instruction with cross-cultural experiencesÌýsuch as company visits and cultural activities.
